Asia Pacific Conference of Young Scientist

The Asia Pacific Conference of Young Scientists (APCYS) is a scientific research and presentation meeting and competition for students in the Asia Pacific region. The purpose of this conference is to provide opportunity for students to share their research work with other students in a strong but friendly competitive atmosphere. Within such an environment, students of junior and senior high school levels will be encouraged to deliver as high as possible quality research, particularly in: 1. Conducting research work, 2. Delivering scientific presentations, 3. Handling discussions, and 4. Writing research reports concerning their own results. All presentations and the exhibition of all research work will be examined by a panel of International Jury members. Research work will be categorized in 5 groups: 1. Physics 2. Mathematics 3. Computer Science 4. Life Science 5. Enviromental Science 12 countries are participating in this 1st APCYS : Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Brunei Darussalam, Nepal, Korea, Japan, Guam, China, Taiwan, Austalia and Indonesia.
